Motors & Motor Drivers in Egypt — Servo, Stepper, DC | MOKWN
Motion hardware for robotics, CNC, and automation projects: hobby servos from micro to high-torque, NEMA 17 steppers, brushed DC gear motors, brushless options, and the driver boards that make them move — L298N, A4988, DRV8825, and TB6600.
Not sure which driver pairs with your motor? Every pairing we sell is documented on the product page, and Volt can sanity-check current limits and microstepping settings against your specific motor before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions
Servo, stepper, or DC gear motor — which do I need?
Servos for precise angular positioning (robot arms, steering), steppers for repeatable open-loop motion (CNC, 3D printers), DC gear motors for speed and wheels. Match the driver accordingly: L298N for DC, A4988/DRV8825 for steppers.
Why does my L298N get hot?
The L298N is an old bipolar design that drops ~2V and dissipates significant heat — it is normal up to a point, but for motors above ~1.5A per channel upgrade to a MOSFET-based driver like the DRV8825 for steppers or a modern H-bridge.
Do motor drivers need heatsinks?
For sustained loads near the driver rating, yes. Our A4988 and DRV8825 modules include heatsinks; mount them with thermal paste and ensure airflow around the board.
